SHOE CLIPS

My latest obsession is accessorizing my accessories!!! Everything from tying scarfs to handbags, adding rings to necklaces and my new fav… the shoe clip!!!

If you are looking for an inexpensive way to update you shoe collection, be it heels or flats, shoe clips are for you. Shoe clips can be added to any pair of shoes, and should not cause any damage to your shoes, although fabrics such as velvet, I suggest attaching the clips for small periods of time to check for any marking.

From Vintage, to Rhinestone, to Bows, to Flowers – there is a shoe clip to suit for occasion – and the best thing is that you can mix and match your clips and shoes until you find the perfect look. The general rule for shoe clips is to use more elaborate clips on simpler shoes; and stick to plain clips, such as a small bow, for your more detailed shoes.

Here is a pair I got from EBay

And here is what they look like on my red platform peep toe slingbacks;

What a great way to transform a pair of heel (or flats!!). Especially with all the Louboutin knock offs around - shoe clips will make your pair look a little more unique than the 10 other girls you are guaranteed to see wearing these heels on any one night.

Check EBay or Vintage store for some timless chick clips, or Absolutely Audrey has some newer style clips.

what an improvement, the shoes are fabulous to start off with, but the buckle just adds that much more.

Cute. I was always a bit stumped on how they actually worked.
