DATING DEALBREAKERS

I was reading the Sunday paper (On Monday night... It's my thing!) and I read an interesting article by former Cleo Editor Mia Freedman about dating deal breakers, and how one persons deal break is another ladies 'must have'.

After yet another dud date on Friday night - I thought I'd share some of my dating deal breakers

* Obessive text/calling... Stalker, anyone?
* Referring to our 'situation' as a relationship or talking about our future after only 1 date... Desperate is never attractive
* Bad dress sense... Average dress sense I can change, Bad - I can not
* Lacking confidence... I would date a girl if I wanted someone without balls!
* Not being able to hold a conversation... I do not care if it is just nerves, 1st dates are a first impression - put the nerves aside
* Asking the same question more than once... Open your ears moron!
* Farting in bed, on my leg, on the first night (and then laughing!)... Probably my fault for sleeping with you on the first date, but still, no!
* Not having a job, car/licence or your own cirlce of friends... There is something wrong with you if you do not have these
* Being rude to my friends/admitting you do not like them... I am not asking you to date them - just be able to socalise with them
* Talking about previous relationships too early... The ex files should be kept shut as long as possible
* General social skills... Anyone over the age of 12 should have these!
* Don't play hard to get too long... The chase is fun for the first few dates, after that you are just up yourself

No wonder I am single!!!

What are your dating dealbreakers?

hmmmm, i would have to say burping-the loud ones that stink of beer or bourbon. It is never attractive, and if it has to be done in that matter, DO NOT do it around me!

pretty much all of the stuff you mentioned? LOL well maybe except the bad dress sense bit. i dont really care much about a guy's dress sense (my ex had terrible, terrible style). in fact to me it's kinda a turn-off if a guy is dressed like a calvin klein model. i'm weird hey.

and welcome back! i'm glad you're not abandoning your blog. i was getting a little worried :D

oh may i add one more thing? ok, maybe two. i HATE HATE HATE it when the guy i go on a date with is a know-it-all. truly smart people keep it low key. and for me it is totally unacceptable for the lady to have to split the check with the guy. i mean, be a man!
